I am looking for a new phone, and came across a few phones online that
operate in GSM 900 / 1800 bands. Will these type of mobile phones work
with any of the providers here in Canada?

contract (he's currently with Telus); he first talked to a sales rep who
didn't find the HipTop1 in the current phones list; he put him on hold; and
came back saying he found it under the Discontinued models ...
