I'm planning a trip to Europe;
and willing to use my Fido over there I spent a lot of time browsing around
Fido's site to find the info I needed (well documented, nothing I can say
about it);

Mason Storm gave me the idea in his post.  Instead of getting prepaid
and continuing to give Rogers any money, I figure a pager will do it for
me in the city.  The deactivated cell will stay in the glove compartment
for emergencies (I believe 911 is available on any phone, ...

In case you haven't seen this:
Effective January 12th 2005, Fido started to charge $0.30 per minute for
cityfido customer roaming outside their base city, up from $0.20.
They also raised the 911 fee from .25 up to 0.50

Hi I've been a no contract Fido customer for a many years.  When City
Fido came out with the $40 plan, I phoned them and had my $40 package

I would like to know if I can use two way sms with Fido and
Hotmail/Messenger. My phone supports SMS (it's a Siemens M55). Anybody
could make it work? It works fine on another phone but that phone is
with Rogers.
