I recently switched over from Fido to Telus. I took advantage of their great
fido trade-in offers a couple of months ago. I just received my final fido
bill and it says I owe them 0.95$. What a joke. I seem to remember a Fido
rep telling me that I didn't need to pay my final bill ...

You guys help me out....a bit long but I'm desperate
Signed up for that $25 unlimited incoming call + free cell phone plan
at the end of January. My first bill cycle only covers the first 4 days
of service and they are already billing me $20 of GPRS internet access

I normally SMS from my Fido phone to various phones in various parts
of the world. Everything has worked perfectly for the past few years,
but now I find that I can't receive SMS any more. The sending of the

I joined Fido last year and opted for the Vtech a700.  It has been a great
little phone, but I recently received a letter from Fido saying that it
would no longer work on the network in a few weeks.  I was given the option
to upgrade to the Nokia 3100b or the Ericsson T237 for free, ...

Anyone know how to set this thing up?  Neither Fido nor Motorola seem to be
able to figure it out.  They sent me these settings:

Well, Rogers is slowly inserting the lethal injection into the dog. I
refer to the Rogers announcement this morning that it has "redesigned"
the CityFido phone service -- a safe way of saying they're screwing

I'm currently on the $25 incoming calls plan....... (I like the plan and
would like to be able to keep it.)
i'm not on a contract... so i'm on a month to month basis.......
the web site states they will only be offering this plan till march 22nd,

I'm looking to buy an unlocked or Fido-locked simple GSM phone.  That
is, no camera, no colour screen, nor other fanciness.  Just a simple
phone.  I'm in the Montreal area, anyone have one to sell?
