When will CityFido be available elsewhere in Canada? Perhaps not?

I am now Fido-free.
I must have been a preferred customer because I waited
no more than a couple of minutes in the Q for service.
However the first drone would not allow me to cancel

I didn't see mention of it on here, so I figure either you all know
about it or haven't gotten the notice yet.
Yet another reason to cancel (I already did a while ago - yay me).

I live in Hamilton, Ontario and have been bumped into Analog mode on my
phone for the past 2 days.  When I called Fido they told me it was due to
"scheduled" network changes that would affect all Nokia 6340 phones.  The
solution is to go and get a new SIM card that will work on ...

Could it finally happen in Canada ? this issue has been long over due.

As of about November 1, 2004, I can't receive phone calls! :(
Here are the details:

- I can _not_ receive incoming calls, the caller hears dead air, then

machine, not Bell Answer.  To activate it, you need long beeps.  With

I have a Motorola V220 unlocked, when I use the rogers Sim Card the
reception is excellent, but with the fido sim card the reception changes
significally, no reception at all at the same places Rogers has
excellent reception.

Does anyone know if there is a "pay as you go" DATA service available? (Fido or not)
I have a Blackberry 5810. It accepts the Fido SIM for phone and SMS but not Data.

  Actually, I had one headache which became several once I tried to
reach Fido to talk to a human being.
  Once upon a time (meaning up until about a week and a half ago) I
could get into my voice mailbox from my cell phone by dialing my cell

Is there a way to send an attachment to my fido phone and save the attachment inside my phone?
I am thinking e-mail myself some ring tones, just do not have access to set up a WAP page to d/l the ring tones now :(
