Has anyone managed to make the Fido GPRS card work on Mac OS X? I am running OS X 10.4.1 on a PowerBook G4 which has replaced my ThinkPad T41. The card was actived on that machine using a Windows-only program that made the connection and reset the network.

I have been a fido customer for 2 yrs. When I subsribed they required a $250 security deposit (Even though I own 2 houses) I switched to Bell and havew been trying since January to get my security deposit back. They keep saying that they are either processing it or that the check is ...

Anyone using a smartphone under Windows mobile 2003 with the Fido Network ? I am having MMS problems with a SMT5600 of my own lately and would like to compare settings with other users... also do Fido still support CSD to dial from a GPRS device to an ISP modem bank ?

Anyone notice that their phones are beginning to lose "Fido" as an available network selection based on location? I've had my HipTop locked onto the Rogers towers for the last week or so, and decided earlier today while in the Pickering area to switch

I was told this week-end by a Fido CSR that since Rogers took over and started merging the two network, the replaced the fido 1900mhz band by Rogers own 1900 wich is flaky to say the least. According to him, buying a 900/1900 phone since the merger was a complete waste of money ...
