| Best site to order phones? | 23 Jun 2005 15:23 GMT | 1 |
Hi guys, I'm looking for a reputable site that has the best prices on the latest phones. A Canadian site would be prefered but if I can get a significantly better deal elsewhere I will. I'm looking at the SE 750i but I'm considering others.

| Ridiculously bad customer service | 22 Jun 2005 18:41 GMT | 11 |
Anybody know what the new voicemail number is in Toronto? I've been using *456 but it no longer works, neither does holding "1" that fido.ca suggests. I attempted to call Fido and reach a human being, so much for that.

When I turned on my prepaid Fido phone in Edmonton, it took longer than usual to find a network, and then it says "302-720 Fido" and "Roaming". Calls to Fido service don't work, but other calls seem to. I figured it's some new Rogers integration thing happening in Edmonton, but ...

Will a Rogers phone now work on the Fido network (with a Fido SIM installed)? Somehow I think the Rogers phone will still need to be unlocked but I am not sure.

| Fido Band and Rogers Band | 10 Jun 2005 02:00 GMT | 2 |
Fido uses 1 GSM band and Rogers uses a different GSM band. My friend bought an unlocked Fido phone that only has 1 GSM band. He used to use his Fido SIM in it without any problems and it would lock onto the Fido network. A few months after Rogers bought Fido, when he placed a Rogers ...
