Poor quality since 100% move to Rogers25 Jun 2005 04:35 GMT18
Has anyone else out there noticed that line quality has really dropped
since they started moving everyone over to Rogers?  I'm in Victoria BC
and it's just crap now.
A year ago I had a friend on Rogers GSM (I was using Fido) everytime I
Best site to order phones?23 Jun 2005 15:23 GMT1
Hi guys, I'm looking for a reputable site that has the best prices on the
latest phones. A Canadian site would be prefered but if I can get a
significantly better deal elsewhere I will. I'm looking at the SE 750i but
I'm considering others.
Ridiculously bad customer service22 Jun 2005 18:41 GMT11
Anybody know what the new voicemail number is in Toronto?  I've been
using *456 but it no longer works, neither does holding "1" that
fido.ca suggests.
I attempted to call Fido and reach a human being, so much for that.

Hi I have a Fido T610 (using city fido... yay!),
However now that my area has switched to rogers my phone doesn't work
any more. That is, it works on the fido network, but on the roger's
network I get all sorts of screeching and beeps and noise coming out of

Degraded GPRS w/HipTop18 Jun 2005 22:06 GMT1
Any other Fido HipTop users noticing signifigantly slower GPRS data
transfer rates in the last week or so?
Danger outages aside, although the service still seems to be pulling
web requests and getting them out to the handset quickly enough, it's
Fido Not Charging International Roaming?18 Jun 2005 18:34 GMT1
Last September my girlfriend and I were in Mexico.  I using my Rogers

So what's up with "302-720 Fido" in Vancouver and Edmonton?18 Jun 2005 06:34 GMT4
When I turned on my prepaid Fido phone in Edmonton, it took longer than
usual to find a network, and then it says "302-720 Fido" and "Roaming".
Calls to Fido service don't work, but other calls seem to. I figured
it's some new Rogers integration thing happening in Edmonton, but ...
New Fido handsets in the pipeline?17 Jun 2005 04:23 GMT3
Anyone have any "dirt" on upcoming handsets from Fido, perhaps
something from Sony Ericsson? I know a new Nokia is on its way, but it

Rogers Phone on Fido?12 Jun 2005 02:07 GMT1
Will a Rogers phone now work on the Fido network (with a Fido SIM
installed)?
Somehow I think the Rogers phone will still need to be unlocked but I am
not sure.

Fido Band and Rogers Band10 Jun 2005 02:00 GMT2
Fido uses 1 GSM band and Rogers uses a different GSM band. My friend bought
an unlocked Fido phone that only has 1 GSM band. He used to use his Fido SIM
