Is anybody using EDGE via FIDO?
If so how fast and where are you?
Mine varies from 60 KBPS down to 28 KBPS.
Depending how many green bars on S-meter.

I'm using wap.fido.ca since I'm on prepaid... when I visit some sites like
PayPal and RoyalBank, it loads but doesn't load 100% of the page.. just like
a small portion then Pocket IE says the page could not be found.   Why is
this?    I'm using a HP iPAQ 6315 if you need to know. ...

Does anyone know how to put a "pause" in the phone number listing on
the Sony Ericsson phones? On the Nokias, I believe it was hitting # 3
times. I can't seem to find the equivelant on my Z600.

Does anybody know if or currently use a Blackberry that wasn't sold by

Love this cellphone (Nokia 6015 $69 at futureshop) and prepaid plan at a
minimum of $3.75/month with expiry every 120 days instead of competitors 30
or 15 days. Same business model as Westjet makes dealing with this company a
hoot too.!

When and why did fido stop the ability of  "111" delivery report? This
report would give true delivery status. If the receiving gsm phone was off
it would return a confirmation after the receiving phone was turned on and
msg received.

Anyone know if Fido has a SNPP server, and if so what is the address?

Hi.  In Canada, i believe it's possible to carry a cell number from one
provider to another.  However, is it possible to transfer a land line
number to a cellular carrier; from Telus (BC) to Fido (BC)?

What are your thoughts about the new Fido invoice for monthly customers? I
just received my new Fido invoice/bill today and it looks very good. The
only thing that is "missing" which would make this invoice perfect would be

Found out today from a rep at the kiosk that since Monday,
incoming calls are billed as soon as your phone starts to ring, instead of
when you answer.
Is this true?
