I suspect I'm flogging a dead horse here since Fido seems to be fading into oblivion, but does anyone have any idea why Fido's WAP and email have stopped working lately? It was working as recently as November, at least here in Vancouver, and I haven't made any changes at my end. Now

Rogers has announced it will fully shutdown its analogue and old TDMA networks on May 31 2007. (yes, in a couple of months). I wonder how much bandwidth this will release in the 1900 and 850 ranges. Have Bell and Telus made any similar announcements ?

I tried to get a Fido prepaid voucher out of a CIBC bank machine today and it said they were temporarily sold out. Huh? Don't they just print a number on the receipt? How can they be sold out? Maybe their agreed range of prepaid voucher number ran out over Christmas and they haven't
