I have been using my cell phone battery for 2 years now. I haven't noticed a change in the performance of the battery so far. What signs should I look for when the battery is about to die? Can I hope that it will last another 2 years, or am I being too optimistic?

I am using WAVECOM modem together with windows hyper-terminal. The GSM account I am using is a part of plus-net The caller ID is missing in the ring string when using WAVECOM When using a Telit modem the caller ID appears in the ring string.
