From what I've been lead to believe not all networks "natively" support delivery confirmation of sending SMS, but I've heard that it's possible to "trick" the system into giving confirmation by prepending the numbers 111 before a message e.g. I start a message 111Hello Bob,

My sister in law is going to be in Costa Rica for the next year. She has taken her Ericsson T300 with her. She purchased this as a pay as you go phone (in the UK), but has already had it unlocked to use with her Vodafone contract account.
