From what I've been lead to believe not all networks "natively"
support delivery confirmation of sending SMS, but I've heard that it's
possible to "trick" the system into giving confirmation by prepending
the numbers 111 before a message e.g. I start a message 111Hello Bob,

My sister in law is going to be in Costa Rica for the  next year.
