Does anyone know what algorithm is actually used as COMP128-2 or COMP128-3?
These algorithms (as everyone knows :) ) are used as combined A3/A8
algorithm in GSM networks.
I've already found implementation of COMP128 but haven't found anything

If a phone is found in the trash or anywhere else for that matter, and
one takes the SIM from their phone and put it in the found phone would
it work?  What about linking of the trashed phone's ESN with the SIM's

i work 6 months in Italy, 6 in the USA. I would like a triband,
bluetooth phone that will support both networks, and allow me to swap
my SIM cards depending on where i am. I think it would be cheaper to
get this phone in the USA, but i do not want it locked to a provider.
