I'm visiting South Carolina next month - Sumter, Charleston and Columbia. I checked out the map of GSM coverage in these areas and it does not look promising for roaming. Will I be able to roam or will I be without cell phone service while in SC? I'd love comments from GSM

Please forgive me if this is too rudimentary a question: Is every phone that is advertised as a "quad band" phone truly capable of 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz ? I would like to get my dad a phone, but I don't know a thing about GSM.

Do you also have trouble remembering what you did do at certain periods of time ? Or do you just want to know what you were doing at a certain moment ? The mobile phone offers many advantages, e.g. through the number of your mobile and a date we can point out where you were at ...

When I receive a SMS message it has a date and time attached. Is this: the time set on the sender's phone at the time it was written the time set on the sender's phone at the time it was sent the network time it was received by the network of the sender

we use a embedded board with a tellit GSM862 GSM Modem. With this modem we sen SMS to some cellular phone. One combination makes a weird problem . SMS -> Nokia 6310 -> OK
