My GSM phone service provider has roaming agreements with two networks
in Japan: NTT DoCoMo and Vodafone. Does this mean it's possible to use
my plain old GSM handset in Osaka? Anyone who has done so, please let

We have a new GSM tower here but it rarely registers full strength even when

I'm in Bibb County Alabama.  Cingular sold me GSM phones in October that did
not work; now I hear we have GSM; before I do this again; how do I find out
definitively.  I don't trust salesmen.

I just purchased an unlocked Motorola Timeport P7389 to use later this

I've used my phone in several countries, but not until I landed in the USA
did it offer to update the time to the local time zone. While in the USA,
each time I moved to a new time zone, the phone let me know and offered to
update the time again.

I have for my notebook the Option Globetrotter GPRS Card.
This card is provided for Vodafone D2 net.
How can I change to German E-Plus net?

When two subscribers A and B are currently in a MSC X.  A belong to
PLMN-A and B belong to PLMN-B. Both A and B have made and received
calls while in the same MSC X just a moment ago. If A calls B, will
MSC-X routes the calls to GMSC of PLMN-B and then GMSC routes the call

I've purchased a Thai 1 2 Call (AIC) pre-paid SIM. I can not read Thai. Doe
anyone know if I can used this SIM for data access in an unlocked Sierra
Wireless  notebook pc card. What are the charges. What else do I need to
