Cancelling Spam Messages30 Aug 2005 19:15 GMT2
I got a text message recently asking if I wanted 'pics of teeny girls
for 50p a day.' In my haste to get rid of it I pressed the wrong button
(honestly!!) - I then got a text with a code to use to text to a given
number to unsubscribe - I then proceeded to delete this as well. Then
Siemens M56 unlocking30 Aug 2005 13:36 GMT3
My sister in Florida has a Siemens M56 phone that she bought from AT&T some
years ago. She has since switched to T-Mobile and has a phone that she does
no longer likes. She wants to use her Siemens phone on T-Mobile.  She is no
longer an AT&T/Cingular customer. How can she get ...

V3 Razr: KB used?29 Aug 2005 00:03 GMT7
Is it possible to tell how many KB were used, similar to the call-timer
counters?
I'm mostly interested in how much data has been transferred by the
phone's browser/email/etc, I can track my bluetooth usage.
V3 Razr: Which band is being used?28 Aug 2005 22:17 GMT6
I've got a V3 Razr -- I'm wondering if there is any way to tell whether
the phone is using the 850MHz or 1900MHz band?
The reason I ask, my parents have 1900MHz only phones, we're finding
that I have reception in places where they don't have any signal at all.
Best GSM card for PC28 Aug 2005 22:10 GMT6
I'm getting ready to sign up for T-mobile's data service. I intend to use it
for international roaming. Having it for international roaming, I will find
myself using it in the US as well. I've noticed that T-mobile tends to sell
a single card at any given time. Some have built in ...
Symbian software for SMS Distribution lists28 Aug 2005 16:17 GMT4
In my Nokia 7250i I had an option in SMS for Distribution lists, which I
made extensive use of.
My Nokia 6680 however does not have this feature.  Does anyone know of a
Symbian application that will fill this requirement?
Nokia 6230i question28 Aug 2005 12:01 GMT2
I'm in a process of buying a new mobile phone. I'm not quite informed about
the models in general, but that Nokia catched my eye. Question will be, is
there something else, which is more worth buying (of course, in the same
price class) than this Nokia? No matter the manafacturer ...
One to One???26 Aug 2005 00:07 GMT1
I have an old motorola phone that is locked to One to One in the UK. I
also have 2 10 UKP cards from when I was using it (about 3 years ago).
I lost the line (and my balance) because at the time they had a
wierd roaming system where you called a number with a code and it
GSM/WCDMA car antennas25 Aug 2005 11:15 GMT8
OK, here's an interesting problem.  I am hopefully getting the Nokia
CR-27 cradle for my Nokia 6680 phone soon.  I have hunted all over eBay
and Google to look for suitable antennas for 3G and have found nothing!
It is obvious that a single 900/1800/2100 is not really possible.  ...

Cing/AT&T sims and phone question please24 Aug 2005 02:18 GMT4
i bought an NEC 515 from eBay and am using it with my Cingular simcard and,
for calls, all is well.
i'm sure it's gone around that an nec 515 can't use mediaNet, it insists on
using mMode, so i have no internet connection whatsoever.
