unlocking Nokia 601027 Sep 2005 04:47 GMT3
Just bought a Nokia 6010 to use on T-mobile with a pay as you go plan.  Will
use the included Sim card for use in US.
Would appreciate hints on how to unlock the phone so I can use it when in
France with a French Sim card.

GSM frequencies in Brazil, is 900Mhz common/needed?25 Sep 2005 14:57 GMT7
If anyone has experience and can give some advice on this I
would appreciate it.  I want to know if 900Mhz only coverage is common
in Brazil or if a phone that does 850/1800/1900 (the crappy version of

T-mobile service unreliable in Bay Area21 Sep 2005 10:04 GMT3

area you already know that.

GSM unlocking - iwireless service19 Sep 2005 00:41 GMT3
We set up our 3 children on iwireless (formerly iowa wireless), with prepay
for unlimited monthly minutes.  We purchased the phones at full price and
there was no contract.  New towers were planned for our area, but now that
they are finished the coverage is not going to be good ...
Large button Cell phone18 Sep 2005 00:43 GMT1
I am in need of a gsm phone that my elderly mother can use. She
complains that the buttons are way too small for her hands (and eyes -
although she won't admit she is blind as a bat). Any suggestions?

Can someone tell me if O2 allows calls to 0870 and/or 0845 numbers as part
of the free inclusive minutes on their prepaid tariff?
I'm planning a trip to the UK, and would like to take advantage of
call-through services to call back to the US for as low a per-minute rate as
