In frequecy hopping based on the HSN next ARFCN is chosen. Can any one tell me how the number which we give in HSN influences the choice? Can anyone provide me the mechanism or algo on which the calculations based on HSN work??

Hi, I'm kinda new to cellular phones in the US but i do know i want GSM (so i can just switch out my sim card when i travel instead of having a CDMA phone in the US and a GSM phone for abroad). Can anyone recommend a provider? At the moment i am just looking for regular voice ...
