I can make a terminal connection to my LG 575 handset over bluetooth. I
want to set up the phone so that it raises a CMTI message when an
incoming SMS message arrives.
I used AT+CNMI=2,1 to set that up, but still got nothing.

urdu text messages...Although every mobile supports Unicod
charecter...does it has any thing to do with Operating System of cel

My current phone does not have GPS but I had thought.
Surely if your phone gets a signal from more than one mast using
triangulation it should give you a similar geographical results.
Any comments?

What quad band gsm *dumb* phone (or anything that cold boots in 20 seconds)
has the highest resolution screen? I need to show photos with it. I saw a
few that is 320 x 240 pixels, but I would like even higher resolution. 640 x
480 would be great, but the ones I saw are all smart ...

I got a I-MATE SPL cell phone I got a sim card from CINGULAR in the
phone Iam suppose to email and web browser on it but it does not do that
is there anything I can do for the phone to use email and web broswer.

Would anybody know of a universal way to compose any given phone
number for sending SMS text messages, regardless of home operator,
host operator, current location (i.e. even if I am roaming), and cost?

From what I've read it seems that unlocking my phone is not possible. I was
wondering if it is possible to hack my sim card or possibly convince my
local AT&T store to register my former DoCoMo card on their network. The
card is no longer activated. I can view networks on the phone ...
