I recently purchased a Moto v551. My previous phone was a basic, but
reliable Nokia 8265 TDMA phone, and I am a newbie to GSM/GPRS and the
available features of this phone. What exactly does the Moto software

I have a V620 which I bought sim free so I could put my 'pay and go' sim
card in. But the web wont work and the Media messages wont work either. I
went to the o2 wesite and found that rather confusing, I went to the
motorola website and had some browser settings sent to my phone ...

Does anyone know of a user guide or FAQ for this phone.
I've got the Orange manual buts its pretty basic.
Just wondering if it can do more than the manual says.

I have a Moto V180 phone on Cingular, and I'm adding voice names to all
the contacts in the phone book. First I had to transfer all entries to
the phone instead of SIM, which was no fun. And then I had to Google
for about an hour to figure out how to actually use voice dialing, ...

Just got the Motorola BT HS820 Headset. Works pretty good with the V551. Not
ear fatigue like in-ear models. Battery life has been decent so far...same
charger as phone was a selling point. BT1.2 also a selling point.
Problem with the combo is that only certain rings are possible ...

My daughter bought a Moto 660 phone with Cricket Service 6 months ago. She
started to have problems with the phone after 3 months. The phone would get
real hot and the battery would heat up so bad the phone was to hot to touch.

I got the Motorola USB Data kit, installed the drivers and software on
the laptop (XP Pro), and everything looked like it was going great,
until I try to have the computer dial my ISP's number.

I would like to remove the number now that I have sold the phone on eBay.
Is there any way to do this with MPT or any other tools?

If I upload an mp4 video to my phone it plays well but without sound.
I was quite pleased with the way I could get an mpg from my digital camera and set it up
to play full width on my V550's 176 width screen. Using mPT to convert it to a 176 width

Everyone I know that owns either a moto v300,525, v600 has problems getting
the connection just right when connecting a charger. Everyone else having

I have paired my v551 with my iPaq, and can connect with bluetooth to transfer photo's videos, mp3 etc.
However, when I try to dial a number from contacts, I get an error "BTCePimCmdApp An unsupported operation was attempted"
I'm trying to determine if the problem is the phone or ...

Are these two about the same as far as features? My wife and I have the
Nokia 3595's. We are with AT&T and are going to switch over to Cingular.
Cingular offers these two. The difference in price is 20.00 (V551 is
