Alternative to mobile Phone Tools.  I've tried this program with my
V551 and I can backup, add, edit phonebook, photos, etc.  They have a
trial version.

V551 makes a "snap" sound! Anyone else?
When I am going through the ringtones, or pushing one of the buttons, OR
when the phone rings, just before the sound plays there is a snapping sound
Kinda like static, this is right outa the box, so no, no mods have been done

I have paired my Motorola HS810 with my Motorola V600 and everything
works fine except that no one can hear me when I use the headset! Does
anyone happen to have any suggestions as to how I can rectify this?

I bought a motorola v600 in september 2004 from t-mobile. At that time,
I am almost sure it was listed as a quad-band phone (850/900/1800/1900
Mhz) both on cnet and t-mobile's website. Anyway, after I bought the
phone I started having problems and T-mobile replaced the defective

I have tried several times to use my Bluetooth adapter to connect thru my
Motorola V551 to the internet on my laptop.  I had it going for a while,
then updated to current software and can't get it working again.  Cingular
says they won't support Bluetooth even though I bought the ...

Verizon has discontinued this model and they still have them in stock
and even though they are discontinued they want $195.00 for it.
Anyone know of a better source?

I want to delete the ringtones that came with this phone.  I have Mpt
and its working fine for transferring things to an from the phone, but
there is no option to get rid of the crap or download ringtones I paid
for.  They all have a lock symbol next to them.  Can anyone help?

Any help on where to download some games would be very much appreciated.

I have a v551 with a dead LCD screen.  Cingular is shipping me a
replacement.
My original phone had some downloaded ringtones & games.  Is there any way
to move them from one to the other?  I have already backed up my phone book

Hi.  I just purchased a V551, having previously been a Nokia owner.
My phonebook was able to be transferred to my new V551 at the Cingula
dealer.  I asked if there was an end-user program to do that but th
sales agent did not know.

I added some midi's to the phone, and i can play the in the media / sounds
but i cant use them as ringtones, when i apply them im unable to edit the
ringstyle..?

Have a Motorola v 505 and I wanted to put backgrounds and ringtones
