The ring style of my V551 keeps automatically changing its ring style
from "vibrate & ring" to other styles without any reason.  Therefore, I
need to frequently check the it. This also happened to my former C375
phone.  Does anyone have the same experience?

What is the putpose of the USB connection on this phone? I can't seem to
find any references to it, and would like to see if I can d/load a ringtone
to the phone from my PC. Is this possible?

Just got back from a Verizon Service Center and the Tech filled me in on the
whole sorry mess.
The V265 has a design flaw which permits dust to accumulate on the ear and
mouth pieces causing loss of volume at both ends.

When my phone starts up I get a bunch of strange data on the screen
and I have to press the menu button and the button left of the menu
button to get to my normal startup screen.
How do I get rid of this?

Are there any online sites that will send ringers to Alltel phones?  I
have found one that will send, but only to Nokia phones.  I have a
Motorola V265 and would very much like to be able to send myself a good

Concerning the motorola v180, I have heard many different answers..So
perhaps a discussion here can clear me up.
Who originally generated the subsidy code, motorola or the service
provider?
