I'd apprecite some help.
I recently got a V3 (Cingular). The manual mentions a SIM card PIN
code. Since I did not get a code from the place where I bought a phone,
I call Cingular customer service and asked for the code. The customer

I have been trying out the different sounds available in the Multimedia
folder of my V3 phone as this is my first Motorola phone, but I have
noticed that after I played each sound (ie Alert, Bells, Bits & Bytes,
etc.), there is a little "locked" symbol appearing against each item

Ok, after purchasing the MPT on the net from BRVP and jumping thru all the
hoops to get this phone hooked up. I find the the Moto V810(CDMA) phone IS
NOT able to transfer photo's and ring tones. Their forum also says that the
MPT does not support. EVEN though their web site does say ...

where are they in the file structure?  using a p2k utility, I want to find them, copy or move them to my computer, and eventually hear them on the computer...what format are they?  what filename and extension will I look for?  TIA!!

My V220 recently experienced a problem that required me to exchange
the phone.  I was unable to retrieve my ringtones because they had a
little padlock on them.  How is this removed so in the future I will
be able to save everything on my cell phone to my PC via USB and

V551 Not detectable via Moto Phone Tools but available on Dongle's software28 Jul 2005 08:05 GMT2
I just got the X-Micro bluetooth dongle.  The software detects the 551
but not Moto Phone Tools.  I am running XP SP2.
Any help is appreciated.

Quick question.  I finally got MPT to recognize the V180 and V220 phones.
The driver I installed was for the USB_modem - so the USB port can talk to
the phone.  Now, do I need to install a separate driver for the V180 and
V220 so MPT can work with the phone?
