What ringtone format does the V360 use? Can I convert from mp3 into that

I can't seem to get a WAV or MP3 file to playback on my phone.
I installed the mobile phone tools, connected my phone via USB and used
"Mobile Explorer" to copy some WAV ringtones to the phone.  these
ringtones are straight from the motorola mobile tools CD.  "riiing.wav"

    Is there such an OEM beast?
