is there any aftermarket add-on to make the fonebook function better?  I have only found multiple letter search but nothing to add addresses and notes ...anything out there?

I purchased a Motorola V3 via Cingular (they sent it through the mail).
Without going into detail as to why, I think the phone may be refurbished
instead of new.  Is there anyway to tell for sure?  Would the part number or
anything printed on Motorola's label inside the phone be ...

as regards the enhanced fonebook, how come one cannot simply flash that into the V3 ??

Or can the same data cable be used for both?

does the charger and the battery and the sync cable and the case for the V3 fit the V3i ??  So, if I get the V3i and have my Cingular V3 can I just slam my sim card in there and go??

Hi:  I'm a Luddite and just getting into this phone.  The manual is
poor, very poor.   I can't find expanations to these questions:
Location Settings:  What is the differece between "Location on" and
"911 only"?

I just installed Phone Tools 3, but it would not see my phone.  It
gets stuck on "Installing your phones ....Is anything wqrong with the
phone or is there a special setup for Windows XP ?

Daughters V551 sent for a second swim.  Restored it back to life with
electronic cleaner and a few days in the sun shine. Worked fine for two
weeks. Left it pluged into the wall charger for over 24 hours; now the
dislay, (LCD and cover) don't work.  Phnone sends and recieves OK, ...

all lights up and nearly everything works but !!!!
keypad, top two buttons for yes and no..
middle button of the circle four for menu movement,

I'm using a V3i on cingular and cannot download from media net.  I keep
getting an authroization failure.
Any ideas how to download games from media net?

i have a Motorola RAZR V3 that i can't get to play a WAV file.
Even the WAV files that came with the phone on the CD don't play.
They play on the PC but not on the phone.
I already saw some hints on some web pages but they did not work

This might be of interest to some in this group. My Files Watcher sends
text message alerts to cell phone or an e-mail address if files or
folder on your system are accessed , changed, created, deleted,
etc.etc. while you are away from the computer.

I have bought motorola L2 and how do i conect it to my computer i have
cabel and MotorolaPhoneToolsV4.0 but it dont recognize it. :(
