Hi just bought a v3i via eBay. live in Australia, phone supplied via Hong
Kong, unbeknown to me when ordering.
Had problems with software from day one, and now is showing no signal all
the time. Discovered there is no international warranty with Motorola.

I've got the latest version of MPT (4.2.1a) installed on my newly rebuilt XP
SP2 PC and am trying to sync with Outlook 2003 SP2.
I've tried this on two different PC's without success. When I click on the

The v551 from what I could tell had been recording call times
accurately.... until last month.

got 2 of these rated 1700mAh and they were fine seeming to last 2x the duration of the OEM 7090mAh battery.  Last month (10 mo later) one of them got the BULGE and after reading about it I threw it away.  The other one is going strong.  Ordered some more from european vendor.  ...

I am working on getting my first cellphone.  Looking at the possible
plans, it looks like a t-mobile prepaid plan will work best for me.
