Can you make the phone beep or make a sound when it is opened?

I have photos assigned but they don't show up as caller ID. The photos
are in the phone memory and do display next to the contact name in my
phone book. Thanks for any suggestions.

or does the cell phone company just know the phone numberand the SIM card ID

Frequently, my E815 was mysteriously changing the ring setting.  I was
losing calls because the phone would go into silent mode.   I carry it in my
pocket and learned that the keys on the left side were being activated by
things in my pocket.  This was what was causing my ring ...

Weird....
Battery has gone flat but now when I plug it in I still cant switch it
on. Its as if the battery is failing to charge !!!
Any ideas ?

Has the regular "ring-ring" tone fallen off the face of the earth?  Any
ideas how i can get good old fasion "rrring" tone. My carrier, Sprint seems
to have hired nothing more than the nose picking, pimple poping kiosk worker
to answer my questions with out success.

On my V3i, getting message on screen Memory Full, I have deleted lots of
files any ideas?

I have Googled for the email settings and tried all of them and always get

I loved this phone when I first go it -- and mostly still do.
BUT it's annoying in that when I press a button it sometimes does no
responde immediatly. It's like in the older days of computing where you'ld
click on something and then have to wait 1 to 3 seconds for something to

any seem edit known to add "airplane mode" to the v3 ?  what that does is allow you to use the fone with the radio turned off.

So, is this a worthy phone. I keep seeing mixed reviews. I have a need for a
phone at least as good as my V710, with a contacts database in it. Or should
I spend the extra for either a Blackberry or Treo.
Suggestions or comments.......?

I've bought Motorola V3 RAZR and tried to synchronise my contacts using
syncML service ZYB ( www.zyb.com ). Unfortrunately, for some reason, my
V3 RAZR doesn't have sync option. It should be in Settings ->
Connection -> Sync. I went through all menu but couldn't find. Is there

My desktop charger spn5204 works, but the phone display never dims down.
I tried two different chargers.
When using the wall charger it dims down after a few minutes?
Is this normal?
