O.K.  I hear about GSM is now becoming the predominant means of cellular
communication, that it's all over the west cost and moving east.
AT&T is now pushing it.
Can someone tell me what the big difference is between GSM and what we have

Ok anyone else having this problem.
i730 and 830 Nextel satelites are screwing up. Phone wont lock on signal or
just locks up (like old windows) or reboots on its own when trying to use
gps.

Perhaps some other Nextel guru can shed some light.

I have a TELUS i730 which has started rebooting every few hours, most of

I have an i58sr. My software version is R88.01.00. Latest version is
R88.01.07 as of last night. I know I must have a data cable to download
and install the software. As I recall, to use the USB data cable with
WinXP you need to get the patch from idenphones.motorola.com.

Can someone tell me how NEXTEL coverage is in VEGAS on the strip? how
about Direct Connect? will I be able to make calls and Direct COnnect
from Vegas back to NJ?
