I finally got the serial cable for the i730 phone and got it to work
with MapPoint.  It usually takes about 2 minutes to find a signal,
which is fine, but after around 60 seconds of working, the phone
deterministically reboots and starts up again, forcing me to set NMEA

Can someone explain Nextel's policy on call forwarding, because Nextel
cannot.
I have my phone set up so that a missed call is forwarded to my alpha pager.
I don't like cellular voicemail.

I currently have an i530 that is provided to me by my workplace.  
If I wanted to buy either an i730 or i830 on my own to use
instead of the i530, would I be able to simply swap the SIM card

Somewhere I thought I read that there is a difference between the SIM cards
in three-digit phones versus two-digit phones?
I'm trying to get my hands on an i710 hoping that I can simply move my SIM
card from my i60 to an i710.

We are trying to deploy Nextel in all our locations and the people in our
office in central Florida have told us they've tried Nextel for their
drivers who go up and down the state and the service sucks compared to AT&T
(yeah, that's the first time I've heard someone praise AT&T, ...

what are these updates, does anyone know what improvements to the phone are?
idenupdate doesn't give specifics, so how do you know what the heck you are
downloading into the phone?

Anyone here using the Mobile Email and Desktop Assistant?
I am using them but I am having one problem.
I am using Outlook 2003 with multiple POP accounts.
Outlook needs to be open and the Desktop Assistant needs to be running so

And all the new phones will not work the last release.
THIS SUCKS!
