Transferring from i60c to i730?31 Mar 2005 03:55 GMT3
Okay, here's the thing...
...a friend of mine is offering to sell me his old i730 phone (he
moved up to the new i860) for cheap.  I still have an old i60c phone
which has served me well, but is getting a little gray in the hair.

Automatic PIN dialing on an i730.30 Mar 2005 04:00 GMT1
The office gave me an i730 for work use.
On my last phone, when checking my voicemail, I was able to figure
out how to "program" calls to access that voicemail box in such a way
that the pin number was automatically included right after the telephone

Moblie locator accuracy27 Mar 2005 15:34 GMT5
I just used mobile locator for the first time and have to ask if it is
really as accurate as it indicates? The caller said they were not on the
street listed on the map. Does anyone know the tolerance of the
specifications. would it be plus or minus a few meters or more?
Rate Plans26 Mar 2005 02:20 GMT1
Nextel is advertising a $39.95 plan with unlimited incoming calls, but
no such plan is listed on the web site. Did I hear a craftily worded ad
that really didn't say what I thought it said?

How to turn number block OFF???25 Mar 2005 09:19 GMT1
My i710 has recently decided to activate the number block, such that anyone
receiving a call from me doesn't know who it is.  I apparently have to dial
*82 before every call to turn this off.  Does anyone know how to DEACTIVATE
this damnable feature?
911 access with a Nextel without service24 Mar 2005 23:05 GMT11
I seem to recall that even a wireless telephone without an account can still
make an emergency 911 call.  Does anyone know if this also applies to
Nextels?

Old i530 with new sim card24 Mar 2005 04:18 GMT3
I got a new i315 today and it replaced the old i530.  The old sim went into
the new i315 and the new sim card went in the old i530.  The i530 will not
even dial 911 now.  Is that becasue the new sim has never been used?
