My nokia 3410 phone doesn't give me enough time to answer it before putting

I have a notebook with a infrared port.
And my 6610 also has one.
With Windows 98 it worked.
Now I have Windows 2000 and it doesn't work.

I brought a Nokia 8910 i , for 800 euros (958 USDollars) and after changing
the SIM card, the EXTERNAL plastic side that cover the battery did not fit
properly, in the top side of the cellular (it doen't fit for less than a
milimeter).

kit with the purchase of the actual holder will do the job or will I have to get a
brand new car kit?

I just bought a Nokia 3200, which I need for work and play.  I have to
provide remote support sometimes so I need to get it working over over a
modem so I can dial into work.

when I used my unlocked nokia 6820 in England, I kept loosing the signal all
the time, while my 3650 was working fine.
I would have very strong signal in one spot then I would loose it after few
minutes in the same spot.

Hope you can help with this query.  I previously had a 6510 which connected
to my PC via a USB irDA device, however although it worked under W98 I
couldn't get it working on XPpro.  This wasn't a problem as I have a
dual-boot system.

Could you tell me if is possible to get rid of the operator logon on my
