I normally place the Nokia 6230 mobile phone in my pants pocket.  I find it
frustrating that all the ringtones that come with the phone are nowhere
close to loud enough for any incoming call or message to be heard in crowded
places.  I miss the loudness of the ringtones in the Nokia ...

Just got a 6820 - nice change from my old 6360.
Will the new PC Suite use bluetooth to communicate with my 6820, or
must it be a serial/USB/IR port only? I'm waiting for the bluetooth
dongle to arrive before I install PC Suite.

I like the look of this handset but is it worth buying SIM free?  Have
a 6100 at the moment which O am getting a bit bored with - what's the
comparison with the 6230 like,particularly re:

I'm selling my phone on ebay (Nokia 6820) and I want to reformat it and
delete all the old stuff (e.g. pics) but the reason I am sell it is because
the screen is completely cracked, so I can't see what I am doing.
I heard bout *#7370# but I type it in and nothing happens. Any ideas?

Anyone know how to get Snake EX2 on my Nokia 3100? It's supposed to com

Anyone out there had a chance to play with one yet? I just read about it on
the business section of Nokia's site...I'll be shopping for a new phone in

I have a HP Ipaq 2200 PDA and I have a Nokia 6600 mobile phone.
Both the phone and the PDA have Bluetooth.  I want to be able to use the
GPRS functionality of the Nokia 6600 so that I can access the internet on my
Ipaq PDA.

I have used PC Suite 5.65 to upload a ring tone to my 6820. The Nokia
Sound Converter reports that it was uploaded, and when uploaded a
second time, it reports that the midi file was already there. However,
when I go to select a ringtone, the uploaded ringtone does not appear

Is there a means to use a Polar heart rate monitor's USB InfraRed port
thingy link with a Nokia 6220?
My service provider has a USB IR port and CD for sale, but I already have
the IR 'reader' for my HRM / running watch which is connected to my PC.

Can anyone tell me if you can resize MP3's to use as ringtones on my phone

As per subject - if i kept my 7250i in GPRS 'ready' mode (e.g. - the 'G'
icon, with no box around it - so no active connection) would this have an
adverse effect on my battery?

I have a really annoying problem with my Nokia 6600. The clock alarm
tone is so soft that I barely hear it when I am awake and the phone is
on the other side of my bedroom. No way is it going to wake me up (My
old 6210 was perfect).

the voice recorder component seems to allow to load wav file to the the
phone (6310i) but which wav format ? I have tried to create a GSM 6.10
encoded wav but OPM doesn't want my file.
