Just bought a 512meg MMC for the 6230 but the phone wont recognise it.
Its like its not even in the phone.   I have formatted the card through
a card reader, loaded files, read them on another computer but still
wont work in the phone.

Like most Nokia's on the 6230, it seems to be possible to jumps straight to
a certain menu by pressing the Menu key, then a sequence of number keys.
Eg Calculator = Menu, 7,2
For some reason, it doesn't work for the Messages sub menu,

bought a 6230 off ebay recently, and  although i never got any receipt for
it as it was an upgrade phone that someone was selling, should anything go
wrong, would the service centre look at it foc , as i know it is  only 2
months old according to the warranty information that is ...

Hi I just bought this phone . And I have an 02 sim card ive put in it to use
it , it asks for a Restriciton ocde, can any one give me help to unlock this
phone thanks a lot.

My single dead pixel on my 3 month old 6600 is so annoying, because it's
more obvious when you know it exists :( Are dead pixels common, and will
Nokia do anything?

Is there a sterio plugin/BT device for this phone avaleable? Tried the
headset off the square nokia(forgot model, sorry) and get the enhancement
not supported. I'd thougth a phone that can play MP3's would have such a
device to listen in sterio.

I'm trying to find a site to download 'old skool' ringtones/message tones
for the 6230, e.g.. BT 'Trimphone', old fashioned 'alarm bells' and any
other type of ringtone/message tone that just sounds like a telephone, not a
song, chart tune, animal or anything else like that.

Have tried to install the drivers but the software insists I install Service
Pack1 for XP ?????????????????????????
I really don't want to do this - its flipping crazy that I have to do this
(does SP1 even exist?) I don't even know where to check for this Service

I heard that the latest firmware is 5.52. Does it fix the Bluetooth
vulnerabilities and problems discovered so far?

I have a Nokia 6600 mobile phone &  wondered if you can help me with a
problem. I have a Bluetooth headset so I can use the phone hands free.
So that I can ring numbers I without touching the phone I am creating
voice-tags.  For a lot of my contacts I have entered a mobile number ...

I have just got a car kit fitted for the phone, and it only attaches to the
