Do applications have to be uninstalled, or can they just be deleted?
I had an App that wasn't working properly, so I deleted it. When I went to
reinstall it, the phone asked me if I wanted to replace the old version with
the new one.

For the last three months I have not been able to get any info out of
my Nokia 6600 onto a PC.  When I fire up PC suite the taskbar shows
that a phone with an illegal filename is connected.  It shows as a
series of squares and greek characters and PCS won't read any of its

Just wondering if anyone knows of procedures to customize the 6600's
applications menu?  For example, I know that at least the first 9 items
on the menu are accessible by simply pressing 1 through 9 respectively;
However that being the case, is there a way to move applications up ...

Just got me free upgrade from 6610 to 6610i. Moved SIMM over..seems to work
fine.
Also upgraded from PC Suite 4 to 6
Using Laptop with irDA, XP SP2

when it is switched on it just displays 'Contact Service'
anyone tell me what is causing this and how to fix please? any help welcomed

got an n-gage, when i switch on it is ok for 20 seconds then seems to
go back to start again, like a re-boot, do not know if it has been
flashed as bought it s/h.
if needed i will reply with more info,

i have an oldish n-gage, 2003 i think , switch on and gets to main
screen then re-boots, could need flashing , so im told, but need
someone to do this, prefer notts or lincolnshire area of the uk.
