6600 Notes Outlook Sync Simpleton06 Jan 2005 07:07 GMT3
I'm finally getting round to 'convergence technology' and am trying to bin
my aging PalmPilot in favour of my 6600.  Contacts, To-Do and Calendar all
sync fine but...
...does anyone know a way to make the Notes bit sync up?
Nokia 6600 Backup Restore to new phone06 Jan 2005 06:53 GMT2
Good Morning/Afternoon/evening etc...
I have a slight problem...more an inconvenience really. I backed-up a
nokia 6600 using PC suite software. It was a total backup and included
all of my contacts. The phone was subsequently stolen and now, a few
6250 later firmware & bluetooth support?06 Jan 2005 02:00 GMT1
Does the later firmware for the 6250 provide any improvements for
bluetooth headset support? I'm presently using V4.28 and the answer
call button on the headset does nothing, nor can I use voice tag dial
on the headset button.

Reset code for 761005 Jan 2005 22:19 GMT5
I have just upgraded the frimware on my 7610, and then did a restore using
PC Suite 6.4. Seemed to go ok, except now when I turn on the phone, I get a
System Error message. The T9 dictionary seems to have disappeared and all I
get is numerals when I attempt to write an SMS.

nokia 6230 disappointment05 Jan 2005 17:40 GMT11
I have just got a hold of a nosier 6230.  I like this phone a lot.  It does
so much, or should.
I cannot connect to it through my IrDA adaptor using windows XP sp2 Home.
I see on the net that this is a very common problem for Bluetooth and cable
Nokia 9500 wifi05 Jan 2005 17:29 GMT8
Hi. I'm trying to activate wifi on my 9500. I have a WLAN here att home
(both 11B and 11G) with 64 bits WEP encryption enabled. The phone finds
the network. I select it and chooses "new connection point" (or what the
key is called in englsih =)). I got a question such as "do you ...
Nokia 9500 fax05 Jan 2005 16:48 GMT1
I just got my new Nokia 9500 communicator and can't send (it keeps
retrying but gets nowhere, there is no rerouting of incoming data/fax
calls) or receive faxes (it rings but does not pick up the incoming
fax call). All configs are bascially as they came from the factory.

Nokia 9210i05 Jan 2005 11:44 GMT1
I have a 9210i communicator and it synchronised perfectly with my old
computer running windows XP. I have now got a new laptop running XP and when
i put it in the cradle and try to synchronise it sends the CPU to 100% and
takes an hour to do a simple calendar synchronisation. I ...

Nokia 6600 contacts from Psion 3C05 Jan 2005 00:02 GMT1
This is probably a stupid question but I thought I'd give it a try anyway.
For many years I have been using a Psion 3C for my contacts and diary. I
have finally forced my self into the new century and got myself a 6600 just
before Christmas. I have a couple of questions:
9500 Features?04 Jan 2005 21:03 GMT2
I've worked my way through the Nokia site for the 9500 and can't find any
explicit answers to a couple of things...
Does the 9500 have a full featured calender and alarm application?
Can the 9500 be used as a dumb terminal via a RS232 connection?
