Does anybody know why there is a SIM card slot on a Nokia 3588i phone?
I know this is a CDMA phone and it was used on a Sprint PCS account. A SIM
card was never used - and I understand it is not required for CDMA.
I just wanted to know as a co-worker wanted to have this phone from ...

Is it possible to find on the web firmware updates.
My 6310i has V4.07 firmware, actually the last one is v7.00, even if I could
find V5.50 or later, it would be fine.
Same with a 6210 actually on v4.27

i have a nokia 6230 & windows ME on my computer so can not load the MP3
ripping software from it onto my computer as ME is not supported,is there
any way round this?

I yesterday bought a 6230 on ORANGE Pay as you go, with the
intention of unlocking it and using my Vodafone PAYG sim card.
The phone unlocked no problem, and the sim works fine - however I
cannot establish a GPRS connection.

Is there a counter on the 6820 for GPRS data?  I cant find it anywhere in

OK I currently have a 6820 which as most of you know does not have a radio
function.
Can I buy anything to convert it... IE power it from the phone but have the
settings on the third party device ?

I had to switch phones due to the AT&T and Cingular "merger".  i love
