setup vision30 Nov 2003 19:16 GMT3
On my plan I have wireless web, but finally figured out I cannot use
wireless web on my new vision-enabled phone.  I called Sprint and they said
I did not have to do anything - I could keep my plan and just pay a penny
per kilobyte, which I think is fair for the small amount of use ...
Thanksgiving is not a Holiday : SprintPCS30 Nov 2003 17:45 GMT12
In contrast to every other cellular carrier where major holidays count as
weekend minutes, with Sprint, every weekday is "Peak Minutes". Just dial *2 and
say "Holiday Minutes" to Claire, and she'll be happy to inform you that
Thanksgiving day is peak minutes.
How certain is the T608? What $$$?30 Nov 2003 16:55 GMT7
I can get a free T610 *now* at TMobile, and my Sprint plan expires in two
weeks.
However, TMobile will cost about $15/month more than Sprint does, for
roughly equivalent plans.
Would someone explain Sprint's response to me30 Nov 2003 07:28 GMT1
Q  I am thinking of switching to the local extended area calling plan and I
understand
that I will have to pay for calls made from outside the area.  If I use my
Vision outside the area will I be charged too?  How would that work with
I called sprint - about using the vga 1000 as a modem...good response30 Nov 2003 05:49 GMT16
Hello...
Ok, i am getting a new vga 1000 next week -- and was curious
about using the phone as a gateway for my laptop to get on the
internet.  I read some stuff on here, but there were mixed responses
Line Portability Fee - Sprint says they did no wrong30 Nov 2003 03:17 GMT2
Since Sprint is claiming I have a 2 year contract even though I only signed
up for 1 year, I thought I'd try to take the easy way out and ask to be
released as they charged me for number portability.   As far as I heard, the
NP was mandated but charging clients on contracts for this ...
CSR droids and the S/E T60830 Nov 2003 02:52 GMT1
I explained that (due to custom Bluetooth software) we will shift away from
Sprint unless we *know* we'll have the T608 by year-end. Response was
ambiguous, and curiously each of my inquiries triggered the same
word-for-word response including "high-profile promotion".
Question about Vision Plan and Ready Link29 Nov 2003 22:39 GMT6
I have the 2,000 AT mins with unlimited pcs-pcs and unlimited night and
weekends for $100.00.  Since I have a plan that over 2,000 mins, I do not pay
for Vision.  When I called to add Ready Link they told be I had to pay $15.00 a
month for it.  I explained that I ready in their ad ...
Master Unlock code for P8167 Timeport29 Nov 2003 19:42 GMT9
I bought a Timeport P8167 Sprint Cellphone off ebay that I cannot use for my
service here in Canada unless I get the Master unlock code. Is there anyone
here that knows it or knows how to get it?

www.readylink.sprintpcs.com29 Nov 2003 19:32 GMT8
I have a ready link phone with ready link service.  I was trying to access the
web site of www.readylink.sprintpcs.com and it asks me for a user name and
passcode.  I enter my vision user name and passcode and it says it is not
valid.  I also enter my pcs number under the user name ...
Sprint in middle TN: F&CA question29 Nov 2003 19:05 GMT11
I'm currently a Verizon user and have great coverage in the Middle TN area.
I work at Vanderbilt who has picked Sprint as their preferred carrier.  They've
added antennas throughout the university, making it possible to get service in
every building...a big advantage.  However, I ...
Retention FAQ, with extra caveat for Scott & Steve29 Nov 2003 17:28 GMT1
I have no association with SprintPCS and there is a greater than zero chance
there may be errors herein. I believe everything to be correct, but use the
information at your own risk.
What about retention deals? SprintPCS wisely would prefer that customers not
synchronizing with the Sanyo 810029 Nov 2003 15:56 GMT6
Morning everyone,
I recently picked up the new Sanyo 8100, pretty happy with it so far. What I
'm wondering is if there a way that I can synchronize my MS outlook address
book with the phone. Any software or USB plug that I haven't come across
I bought a Neptune Washer29 Nov 2003 06:41 GMT6
I bought a Neptune Washer Jan 01 in Ft. Collins CO at an authorized
Maytag Dealer (the only product they sell). I was willing to pay over
$1200 (for just a washer) in order to have a machine that would be
worry free from maintenance issues for at least seven years (after
