T608/Bluetooth:  WHEN??10 Nov 2003 08:34 GMT2
I need Bluetooth, and would like to stay with
Sprint.
Apparently my choices are the Handspring i600
with a Bluetooth add-on card (is there one?), or
Cell Phone Repair FAQ10 Nov 2003 08:19 GMT26
I see many questions asked repeatedly about problems with phones, and thought a
"Repair FAQ" was in order. This FAQ has not been fine tuned as much as the
Retention FAQ, and may have minor omissions or errors.
What do I do if my phone goes bad/dies/stops working?

Sprint apologists09 Nov 2003 19:27 GMT1
To keep an anal-retentive Sprint apologist happy, I have a further iteration of
the FAQs. Scott has pointed out zero errors in them, so I assume he just
doesn't want SprintPCS customers to be knowledgeable.

Interesting which carriers aren't mentioned as being ready!
Sprint's "beware" was correct!
Now Sprint Phone Solicitations?09 Nov 2003 08:06 GMT2
Having had Sprint for about 6 months, I just got a phone solicitation asking
me to sign up for Sprint long distance.
This will make me feel worse about choosing Sprint very fast. I'm already
very disappointed about the signal strength in my office compared to other
Insulting Posters only makes SprintPCS employees look bad09 Nov 2003 08:05 GMT4

The training in Kansas City for "Ready Link" or PTT is Nov. 19  Hopefully
this means it will hit stores shortly thereafter.

Software and Cable to Synch Samsung VGA1000 to Outlook09 Nov 2003 04:52 GMT2
Any suggestions for software and a cable that would allow me to synch
a Samsung VGA1000 to MS Outlook for phone numbers?
Thanks,

What wireless e-mail are you using?09 Nov 2003 00:58 GMT2
I tried to use imap.sprintpcs.com and it will not let me send any e-mail.
Even if I "set it to require authentication.
I would be extremely happy with the wireless internet if I had a way to use
Outlook Express with it.
SprintPCS retention Faq08 Nov 2003 20:42 GMT2
Wait until November 10 when new promotions kick in. Otherwise:
What about retention deals? SprintPCS wisely would prefer that customers not
leave, its been reported it costs ~$365 to obtain a new customer in
advertising, support, and phone price subsidies, etc.; so it behooves ...
Common CDMA myths exposed08 Nov 2003 20:41 GMT19
1. "they built a new tower by my house, so I need a new PRL so I can
pick it up." FALSE, PRLs are done by SID (System ID) and only affects
how your phone roams.
2. "they oversold the network, I used to have good signal now I barely

Q: Will those cheapass piece of foil antenna extenders really work?
A: NO.  But then again what do I know. I use the end of justins dick
plugged into my a.s for an antenna.
Sanyo 5300: Digital Roam08 Nov 2003 17:16 GMT56
I have some new 5300's all exhibiting a strange behavior for which I get
conflicting answers/information:
All phones are set for SPRINT PCS only mode
All have a VISION plan.
