Odd Verizon raoming (or lack of)15 Dec 2003 04:01 GMT1
Just curious: anyone know if Sprint has amended its roaming agreement
with Verizon, perhaps to allow only digital roaming in certain areas?
In central NJ, it looks like Sprint phones can no longer roam on Verizon
in analog, where PRL 10021 will pretty much take you if you set the

I had to reformat the drive on my laptop, and now realize I misplaced

All I want for Xmas is... good reception, no gimmicks14 Dec 2003 20:43 GMT24
Does anyone out there just want a decent phone that's not too
expensive (since I'm not into taking pictures or emailing with my
phone) with a company that has good reception? I must be in the
minority because the cell phone companies aren't focusing their
Plan question14 Dec 2003 18:49 GMT4
my agreement expires mid month (Dec 2003).  What would be the
best plan (similar to my current one) that has Vision (if I decide to
get it)? My plan now is 300 minutes, $30 (with unlimited nights and
weekends), with a $5 add on for wireless web...  If I keep this plan,
Advice on this plan?14 Dec 2003 18:31 GMT10
Long time sprint user...been with 'em since '97.

I've been shopping around, and in talks with Sprint PCS Sales (not their
'retention' dept), I've been offered the following plan:
couple of newbie questions regarding vision and AIM14 Dec 2003 17:24 GMT4
Since this wasn't really explained to me when I signed up, and when I last
called CS the wait time was 45 minutes, and I didn't have time to wait,
figured I'd ask here.
I pretty much know so far that Vision is unlimited (they said I have it free
Last Sanyo 8100 question14 Dec 2003 14:22 GMT3
OK If I have a Sanyo 8100 and I am in my car. I have it set to auto answer
and I have an earpeice in so I can drive hands free. The phone is in the
closed position and it rings. Will it answer or do I have to reach down and
open the phone.
vision usage / billing14 Dec 2003 09:06 GMT4
I'm using vision on a pay-as-I go program... Just out of curiousity, a penny
a kilobyte is what they told me..  occasional email checks, and very light
browsing.. how quickly will it actually amount to any real money?
Wondering if I should just add vision for $15.

Contract ends on Dec 22.
I've acquired another phone on another service (Sony T610 on TMobile). I
want to begin the process of transferring my formerly SPCS number to the new
phone, and will happily "pay" until the SPCS contract ends. Will I get

600.  I like my current samsung 400 but am leaning toward the Sanyo.

5% deal.14 Dec 2003 04:53 GMT8
Anyone here take customer service up on a 5% offer on an AA renewal? I
took one back in October, and the CSR on the phone can't seem to find
anything on it. Was the 5% discount supposed to be on a continuing basis
or just for the month? I recall it being for the term of the ...
PRL Updates14 Dec 2003 01:47 GMT14
I called *2 recently, and after waiting 10 minutes, was told by the customer
service rep to call back the automated assistant and just say "PRL Update."
Of course when I did this, Claire said "OK, let me get someone to help you,"
and I got stuck on hold again.  Has anyone else ...
