| Why are the RL phones so expensive? | 10 Dec 2003 09:11 GMT | 19 |
I just came back from a local SprintPCS store. I wanted to buy the Sanyo 5400. I was told $300. $300 is way too much for a cell phone. I asked why I couldn't get the phone for $150 like. I was told I didn't own my current phone longer then 18 months and I'm not a new customer. I've ...

Here's something I just thought of. Does Sprint PCS' mechanism for determining whether a call is PCS2PCS take into account ported numbers? For example, if I call someone who has ported a number from another

| Weird Voice Command problem | 10 Dec 2003 07:59 GMT | 2 |
I love the voice command feature, but have found a glitch. If I call American Airlines via voice command, I am unable to use the keypad to make choices from the option tree---so there is nothing I can do. I can hear the key beeps, but apparently American

| Question on downloading phonebook on an N400 | 10 Dec 2003 03:25 GMT | 3 |
I am trading in my Samsung N400 tomorrow because the phone is locking up and dropping calls. I have a service contract with Best Buy to replace the phone and was there earlier tonight to ask if these were valid reasons to replace it. They said it was. When I got home I called ...

| PTT latency is 1 second | 10 Dec 2003 00:02 GMT | 42 |
I got to try Readylink this afternoon after an out of town business meeting. "Volley" latency is indeed 1 second. Regular wireless voice call to land line latency is 1/2 second so the overhead associated with Readylink is only an extra 1/2 second.

| does asking for 7 p.m. N/W = torpedoing FIMF? | 10 Dec 2003 00:00 GMT | 4 |
My contract is up and some of the deals out there (with the other carriers) look good enough for me to play ball with Retention. Somebody posted here that if one gets 7 p.m. N&W (through a retention deal), that means FIMF goes away. Has this happened to anyone?

| Easy way to see if a number is SPCS. | 09 Dec 2003 16:58 GMT | 1 |
What with features like unlimited PCS2PCS calling, it can sometimes help to know if the number you're calling is a Sprint PCS phone. That's been hard to do. Thanks to WNP, you can check Sprint's website. Visit

| 5500 accessories | 09 Dec 2003 12:17 GMT | 1 |
Anyone know who might be bringing out a belt case for the Sanyo 5500? Leatherish, plastic, I don't care, just something to protect the phone a bit and clip it to the belt.

| Is there a way to dial directly to someone's voicemail?? | 09 Dec 2003 06:57 GMT | 15 |
I used to be able to directly directly to someone's voicemail with an older cell provider. Is there a way to do this on SprintPCS? (you would do something like *12 then dial the person's # and their voicemail would automatically pick up instead of the phone
