I-75 Coverage in Southern KY04 Dec 2003 03:45 GMT7
I was driving South on I-75 over thanksgiving and I noticed I picked up a
sprint signal near London, KY for the first time ever.  Now a couple of days
later when I was heading north on I-75 through London, KY I couldn't pick
the signal up again.
Sprint I300 vs Outlook04 Dec 2003 03:36 GMT1
A friend of mine was given a Sprint I300 to replace her combo cell phone +
Visor.  We have installed the Hotsync software on her PC, as well as Palm
Desktop, although the latter only because the installation routine seemed
to require it.  Presently she keeps all of her contact ...

I had to swap two of my phones (did an ESN swap between the two) due to
which phone came with Sprint business connection service.  Anyway, one is a
Treo 600 and the other a Samsung VGA1000.  About two days after ESN
swapping, I had to call and have Vision service fixed because ...
Sprint to discontinue View and Organize Inbox...03 Dec 2003 16:03 GMT4
I just noticed the following message on Sprint's website. It would be
nice if this meant they were moving closer to MO SMS, but that's
probably not the case. I hate the fact that I won't be able to check
messages on the website, because checking them on the phone takes
Samsung i70003 Dec 2003 15:32 GMT1
I checked out this phone/pda at the Verizon Store. This phone rocks! It has
everything I want. Why isn't this on Sprint? Unforgivable, considering
Sprint announced it was going to be part of their line-up. I want this
phone! The monthly phone/web access plans from Verizon are too ...
Treo 600 and SPCS - New Customer Questions03 Dec 2003 13:26 GMT2
1) I got a mssg today that said "Phone Updater".  I said yes but then
the phone gave an error.  What is this updater and why the error?
2) When I connect to the web or any other PCS Vision service, how do I
disconnect the data but keep the voice connection active?  It seems that
Sprint AD!  This ad looks misleading to me but am I just reading it wrong.03 Dec 2003 07:13 GMT1

On this page it states that someone can receive a $150.00 service credit for
adding ready link to you service plan by signing a new two year aggreement.  I
did that and Sprint is telling me that it is for ...
Service inside buildings03 Dec 2003 03:23 GMT4
I currently work in a factory and have no problems
with my Sprint service inside the buildings I work in.
Some of my co-workers have tried T-mobile & Cingular
without alot of luck. Does anyone have any
Sanyo 8100 question03 Dec 2003 02:52 GMT2
I just bought a new Sanyo 8100 yesterday and I've had to charge the battery
twice already.  I've hardly used the phone at all!  Is this normal?  On my
old phone (a Samsung A400) I only had to charge the battery about once every
7 or 8 days.
anyone know the portability fee Sprint charges to LEAVE Sprint02 Dec 2003 21:48 GMT1
The one news clip I saw stated that if you leave a company and switch
your number to another company, the original company can charge you a
fee (even if you are NOT breaking a contract).  Is this true? Any
ideas what this fee is to leave sprint?
Claire Hell02 Dec 2003 21:30 GMT9
Man, I've been trying to speak to a billing representative for over two
hours now (Monday AM thru afternoon).  I tell Claire "billing", then
"representative" (I've also resorted to "Cancel Service" and other such
desperations), but I always end up in the "Wireless Web support".  ...
911 lockout?02 Dec 2003 20:59 GMT2
Earlier today, I used my Samsung A500 to dial 911 to report a car accident.
The 911 operator asked me for the standard things, and she also asked for my
cell phone number. Later on, after the accident was taken care of, I noticed
my phone was beeping continuously. Upon opening the ...
Why Multiple Networks?02 Dec 2003 20:54 GMT3
Much of the rest of the world uses the same type of network.  If you travel
within Europe or Asia simply replace the internal card and use the same
phone.  Why does the US have multiple systems with different carriers all of
which have poor service?  Why don't we have one network?
International Phone02 Dec 2003 07:40 GMT6
I am looking for a Sprint Phone that will work in Europe, Japan, Korea and
the USA. So far I am getting conflicting infomation. It seems like  will
need to move to at least two other companies and have at least two phones.
Any suggestions?
Output wattage on phones02 Dec 2003 07:31 GMT6
I was just noticing that the 1900 Mhz output wattage on Sprint phones
can vary greatly. The upcoming A680 looks to have a very high output
wattage of 0.555 watts. Do these numbers really mean anything or do
they all have a max. output from the tower which can't be exceeded
