Can someone tell me what the latest version of the phone firmware is?
and How to/ menu commands to check it?

My wife has a Sanyo 5300 phone with the $15 Vision/Picture Pack
service. Instead of me paying the $15/month, is there a software
package I can buy that would allow her to sync the pictures from her
5300 to a Windows-based computer?  That way, I can save the $15/mo for

In the last 3 months, customer service has deteriorated to almost non
exisitant, I have not been able to log into the web site to view my
plan or bills for the last 2 months.  I cannot get through to customer
service on the phone in under 20 min, when they do answer they will

someone tell me exactly the Life Timer means - I know the life data is from

while mine is sitting at VK04
Anyone have pluses/minuses of these two levels?

Another question for the group.
A friend of mine just very recently upgraded to a Sanyo 5300 flip.
He was offered this as a FREE phone when he recently renegotiated his
contract. (He had to take a 2 year contract However ugh...)

Just activated this phone, wife hadn't used in a while.   She thought it had
a vibra-alert,  can't find instructions in the manual, how to set this
feature up.   How do you turn the volume off entirely.

i've been looking a bit at the samsung sph-i500.  seems pretty nice
although some of the trade offs they made to shrink it are kind of
annoying (no external lcd, no camera, no sd, etc.).  is there any way to

How does one carry the phone. I got a plastic holder that seems to work
fine but I am not to sure how long it will last. Do you use a case for the
