Ready Link Management Page19 Dec 2003 03:34 GMT1
As a new Ready Link user I have been trying to access the "manage ready
link" tool on the SprintPCS web site.  I am unable to bring up the page when
I click on it (page not found).  The Ready Link service is working VERY well
on my VM 4500 and I am able to add Ready Link contacts ...

I have Sanyo 5300 and I was wondering if there are ways to upgrade the
current browser on the phone.  I know there has to be new stuff
outthere since I got this phone 5 months ago...  thanks,

Sprint support for legacy QCP-2700 phones19 Dec 2003 02:12 GMT5
Anyone else getting frustrated over Sprint PCS lack-luster support for the
Qualcomm QCP-2700 phone.  I mean, how many Sprint Stores must I go to before
I can find one which has a cable to allow me to update my PRL.  (2700 does
not have over-the-air PRL update capability).  Been to ...
Treo 600 no longer accepting cookies - solution?18 Dec 2003 19:11 GMT7
Have had my Treo 600 with Sprint service for a couple of weeks.  Two
days ago, for no particular reason, the phone stopped accepting or
reading web cookies.  I have gone into Preferences >> Advanced and
made sure that the "Accept cookies" box is checked (I've checked and

See no evil, hear no evil, write no evil and say nothing18 Dec 2003 15:19 GMT8
There are lots of regulars in the group just sick to death of the
space Phillippe in his various incarnations occupies in the newsgroup.
Let's do this: for one week, how about if no one replies to his posts,
flames him or in any way speaks to him. Yes, let's permit ourselves
My phone beeps18 Dec 2003 05:57 GMT3
Lately, whenever I make a call, my Samsung SCH-8500 beeps for every
minute or so as if its recording the conversation. What do I need to
change in the settings to stop the beep?
Thanks in advance

or even more specifically near foothill & stevens creek?  the sprint
all-you-can-eat data plans sound pretty tempting but i'm curious to hear

SMS when?  New phones cheap, how?17 Dec 2003 06:54 GMT35
Looking to replace our (my wife and mine) LG5250's of nearly two
years.  I want SMS, not the god-awful Short mail.
Question ONE: Any of the current phones "SMS-ready" and when, if at
all, does SprintPCS plan on rolling this out?  I've checked out the
When do minutes start being used..17 Dec 2003 05:04 GMT17
When placing a call, does minute use begin the second you press send, or
after a certain # of seconds. In other words, if I place a call, let it ring
4 times (about 30 seconds), and disconnect, with no answer, is that going to
be taken out of my airtime?

Secure lock code???? Timeport P816716 Dec 2003 22:56 GMT1
I go to the lock secure menu and try to access the secure options submenu on
my P8167 Timeport and it asks me for a 6 digit code. It's not 000000 or any
easy combination. I also know the MSL code and that doesn't work. Does
anyone know how to retrieve this code from the phone? 55# ...
