Is Sprint always like this? Welcome to my nightmare........long.....03 Jan 2004 22:34 GMT12
My wife and I purchased 2 PCS phones on Dec 27 from Costco. A Sanyo 8100
and a Samsung VGA-1000. We called to activate them on Tuesday, Dec 30 at
around 4:30 pm. It seemed pretty simple, new activation and port our numbers
from Nextel. By 7 pm when we hung up with them, it seemed ...
Sanyo 8100 & Little Dude03 Jan 2004 20:28 GMT11
I just bought a Sanyo 8100.  Great phone!  How do you get rid of that
little dude that appears when you open the phone? I was disappointed with
the manual for the 8100. Didn't explain things as well as the last Samsung
I had.
New 5300 - Should I upgrade the software level?03 Jan 2004 19:49 GMT4
Picked up a new Sanyo SCP-5300 today at my local Radio Shack ($229 minus
$180 mail-in rebate for an existing customer beyond the 18 month bar) and
noticed that the software level is 1.036. What's the consensus about whether
I should take it to the local Sprint store to have the ...
Vision Problem with SonyEricsson T60803 Jan 2004 17:06 GMT20
So the idiots at SprintPCS have decided to shackle the T608 owners
with a 3-MB vision cap for $15/month. Everyone can see this is
completely unreasonable. They have no such limits on phones with
picture phones and wireless web. Many of these customers get unlimited
A460 - 2nd to die in as many weeks03 Jan 2004 16:52 GMT8
My family is a big Sprint PCS family and both my sister and I use
Samsung a460s. Both have had the LCD fail in the last two weeks.
I tried opening the phone and reconnecting the LCD ribbon to the
mainboard, since it was loose when I initially got it and caused
My mistake on my plan03 Jan 2004 15:07 GMT2
Well,
I called retention, cancellation, and then corporate services (the #
they gave me for my work sprint account. Either they have thier phone
speak down pretty good now, or they are just unwilling to budge.
PCS Vision Web Browser03 Jan 2004 13:56 GMT4
I'm trying to work with the Vision Web Browser on my Sanyo 8100. If I want
to go to a certain web site and manually enter the URL, how do I enter a
period (.) or slash (/)?

Got F&C America plan 10/1/03, but website says AAreement exp. 8/7/0203 Jan 2004 04:49 GMT1
I was just on the website (first time in a couple months-first time it
showed my Advantage Agreement expiration date) and saw my AA expired
8/7/02-the correct date for a change in 00.  The brochure for F&C America

Just came out of the stone age and got a 3G phone on heavy promotion
(the Samsung A660/VI660) along with a Vision plan.  What I'm wondering
is, can this phone be used to transfer data trough a cable to a
laptop?  I don't mean use it as a modem, I mean connecting to the
Number portability fees & 7pm N&W02 Jan 2004 16:58 GMT22
When the number portability charges first showed up, a number of people were
successful in calling to have this fee removed. I just called and tried
having that removed, the person I spoke to insisted this is a federal FCC
fee that she can do nothing about. What do I have to do to ...
