Warning: Vision username changes and AOL Instant Messenger19 Jan 2004 05:05 GMT1
I've learned "the hard way" that authentication into AOL Instant Messenger
from a Vision handset is at least partially tied into the Vision username.
On Tuesday I had occasion to change my Vision username due to some
problems with Vision and also some spamming on my @sprintpcs ...

Cool new feature of SprintPCS site18 Jan 2004 06:16 GMT5
They must have been doing some upgrades... that's why the site was down,
probably - tonight Sarah brought up our bill on the web and the phone numbers
on the outgoing call details were clickable. Click on a number and the web
site will attempt to do a reverse number lookup on the ...

I am asking for any ideas on dealing with a frustrating problem with
Sprint PCS fraud.  I will try to make a long story short ....

haven't had any complaints.  Then I went to get my 19 year old

PCS Vision17 Jan 2004 22:46 GMT27
When you get the free 2 months Vision with a new PCS Vision phone, which
version of Vision do you get?  From what I have been reading there are 3
different offerings; Business User, Gameer, Photog.
Best retention plans for this time of year?17 Jan 2004 14:13 GMT28
It's going to be time for me very soon, That's right, time to call
retention.  I was just wondering what people have been offered lately
from Retention? And what I should reasonably expect to be able to
negotiate for when calling them.
Phone CPU & Firmware17 Jan 2004 06:43 GMT16
I have a Samsung vi660 and I was curious what type of processor
it was running.  I have some applications that I am interested in
porting to it, but I am concerned about how much horsepower it has.
Does anyone know?

Is it actually *WORTH* staying with SPCS?17 Jan 2004 02:00 GMT18
I'm reaching the end of my contract in two weeks.
I'm on a retention plan that gives me 750 a/t, some ungodly
amount of n/w, and I pay $10 extra for the Vision unlimited,
coming to a total of $59 (after taxes) per month.
Data cable for internet, stalling out? 16 Jan 2004 20:14 GMT26
I am using Win98se, IE6 and a Sanyo 8100 with data cable for some surfing. I
use only a DUN dialing #777 and have Sanyo driver I was given for the
"modem".
When this works it is great, good speed and such. Compression is apparent in
Are Voice Mail calls billed M2M ?16 Jan 2004 18:57 GMT4
I haven't seen a post on sprint about this but I don't have M2M option
on my sprint account, but on my verizon account they have began
charging voice mail calls to the M2M minutes--Wondered, if sprint does
this---how about if you dial the back door voice mail numbers, like
Question Regarding Data-- Is there any included method?16 Jan 2004 16:51 GMT10
I believe there used to be a circuit switched 14.4K data option for Sprint
users that just used minutes, something like dial #777, web, web.  Is there
any data options available from the phone & tethered laptop that do not cost
any money monthly?  I don't mind dialing my own ISP.
