SMS and SprintPCS24 Mar 2004 19:49 GMT12
I'm really getting mad about the SMS messaging.  Half the time the messages
don't even go through.  About 15 min later I end up calling the person and
they say they didn't even get it.  I know it's not just my phone because
others have sent them to me and I don't get all of them ...
Another Corporate Disgrace24 Mar 2004 19:46 GMT41
With Sprint PCS losing so much money that its stock is being folded back
into the stock of its Parent Sprint, and with the wireline people losing
market share, Forsee (the CEO) gets rewarded withan almost $13 million
bonus.
cell phone tracking question24 Mar 2004 13:41 GMT3
I've got perhaps a strange question. My girlfriend had recently been
getting harrassing calls on her cell phone from on "unknown number".
Sprint wouldn't give her the number without police help, so we hoped it
would stop. Anyway, today, a text message arrived. It was very
Add-on Roaming Plans - No more?24 Mar 2004 08:57 GMT19
I'm currently on the  Wide-Area Plan in the SF region. I'm interested in a
"buy-up" Roaming plan for occasional travel to the east coast.
Sprint used to have an Add-on Roaming plan you can purchase for $10/month
for a some roaming minutes -- is that still available?

I ahve an the orginal $10 unlimited vision plan.  Recently switched to
a sanyo 5500 with all the camera stuff.  With the esn change, it seems
(may be my imagination) that more picture options appeared.

Do new phones get better reception?24 Mar 2004 07:56 GMT12
My husband has a 3 year old Samsung SCH 8500.
He travels often and lately has been getting the 4 bars that should be a
good signal but gets no signal or very poor reception.
Do the new phones get better reception or is this just the area he is in?
International Roaming and GSM phone options24 Mar 2004 07:56 GMT14
I'll be traveling to Asia next month and I need phone access over
there. Through SprintPCS's International Roaming feature, I can get a
GSM phone and a SIM card so I can continue to use my current US number
and service. Sprint recommends that I buy the phone from them. Wouldn't

It's in Crown Valley Park near Crown Valley & Niguel disguised as a
ball field light pole. It's not active as of today but looks like it
will be very soon.

Good by Sprint -  Hello Virgin23 Mar 2004 17:26 GMT15
Sprint ignored my request for a plan to accomodate my low usage so I
just ported to Virgin.
Now I will pay 25¢ for the first 10 minutes per day, then 10¢ after
that.
1-Way SMS no longer free?23 Mar 2004 15:46 GMT12
Has anyone noticed that they're now being charged to receive 1-way SMS
messages ("notifications" in Sprint PCS parlance)?  When did Sprint notify
it's customers that this service which was once free would no longer be
free?
