bitpim & 730022 Mar 2004 18:11 GMT5
After toting two phones around for a week I've found that bitpim will move a
phonebook from a 4900 to a 7300.
Explanation: I've had a 4900 for over a year now and built up a lot of phone
numbers in its internal phonebook ----- and using either Data Pilot (to get
what can I do with a sprint PCS phone in Canada?22 Mar 2004 18:01 GMT5
I have a GL phone from SprintPCS, which I bought while working in the
US. I've moved back to Canada now and was wondering if I could make
any use out of it? The phone does not take SIM card, and I dont want
to go with Sprint again.

similar to Verizons I600 with Windows Mobile including a touch screen?

Samsung vs Sanyo -- Opinions Please22 Mar 2004 15:57 GMT6
Ok. I've had my Samsung a620 since November, and for the most part it was
working fine, until recently when I moved to another side of town.
I had the a620, my wife has the Sanyo 8100, and our neighbor has the 8100 as
well. Inside our apartments our phones are all nearly USELESS. We ...

USB Data Cables Difference21 Mar 2004 19:42 GMT17
Is there a difference between the different USB data cables available
(specifically miniSync, SupplyNet & those others sold on eBay)??? Is there
an advantage of one over the others?
Will they all get 144 kbps via Vision? Is SnapSync or DataPilot required to
Area-wide plans and PCS-2-PCS while traveling...21 Mar 2004 16:02 GMT1
I have a friend who has the 1000 minute area-wide plan in the Kansas
City market. If they have PCS-2-PCS and travel to a city outside the
extended calling area and call another PCS phone are they billed the
$.50/min travel rate or does it just consider it PCS-2-PCS?
Still can't determine differences: 7300 vs. 250021 Mar 2004 07:06 GMT7
Couldn't find my answer in the archives. I've been thinking
about taking a new contract and asking for some phone discounts in
exchange.
I'm trying to see the differences between these two phones,

Treo 600 boot loop and erase all20 Mar 2004 12:13 GMT8
There gotta be a better solution than the one where if your Treo 600 for
whatever reason goes into this infamous boot loop - and you only choice is
to press yes to erase all data and then it will start up... What would be a
solution/approach to this? If we bought a memory card - ...

the great ebay scam......20 Mar 2004 01:25 GMT9
some will probably recall the ebay offer to save $$ on your SPCS bill that
was discussed here ---- don't recall the cost of the guy's offer (I think I
saw it was reduced from 39 to 24, or something like that). Some wondered
what the guy was up to, and how the scam worked ---- well, ...

8100 no longer works as modem19 Mar 2004 21:58 GMT4
I've used my Sanyo 8100 as a modem with my iBook in a pinch to get
e-mail and it worked from the start. Now it no longer connects. I asked
at the Sprint store and they were vague at best but suggested that maybe
Sprint disabled the phone's ability to do this. I have Vision on my
