I've been thinking of converting my laptop to Linux and the main thing
keeping me from doing such is that I'm concerned about not being able
to connect my Sanyo 4900 to my laptop with Linux. Has anyone been able
to get a data connection with their phone in Linux?

Roaming in Sprint fringe area11 Mar 2004 02:31 GMT5
When traveling by car I experience varying degrees of SprintPCS coverage. My
phone often indicates that it is either roaming digitally or analog. I have
the Free and Clear America feature so I really don't care when I'm roaming
other than the loss of features such as CallerID and ...
NYC Digital Roaming Mystery11 Mar 2004 01:59 GMT3
I've experienced something odd, and I am pretty sure one of
the knowledgeable folks here will be able to explain it. I'm a
complete novice in this area, and this is nothing more than idle
curiosity, but I'd be interested if any of you have an explanation:

followup to my broken N40010 Mar 2004 13:31 GMT1
Every once in awhile someone at Sprint will surprise you.
The lcd screen on my N400 went out Sunday afternoon. I did nothing to
incur such a wrath on sunday, though days earlier I had dropped it
pretty badly.

I've read some of the threads concerning SMS spam.
A friend (sprint customer also) and I both got a SMS message for
Ephedrine from mushxb3@yahoo.com almost at exactly the same time
today.
