In-Network Calling30 Apr 2004 23:44 GMT12
With all of the emphasis that Verizon is putting on their unlimited
mobile-to-mobile calling (In-Network "Are You IN" promos)... I have
often wondered why Sprint does not promote this as well.
We as Sprint PCS customers have enjoyed the option of unlimited

Treo 600 problem30 Apr 2004 16:43 GMT2
Today, when using my Treo 600 a funny thing happened. I dialed a number and
when I hit "Dial" I immediately got a fast busy signal - then the phone
actually dialed the number. I tested it on a phone in my office, the Treo
gave me a fast busy ring but the phone in my office rang and ...
Providing ESN for an ebay phone30 Apr 2004 16:28 GMT22
I'm engaged in a dispute with an idiot - He claims that, when bidding on a
phone on ebay, one should never expect the seller to provide you with the
ESN,as there are things a scam artist can do with it.
I say BS,and I wouldn't bid on a phone if the seller refused to provide the

PRC update only on 1 of 2 phones30 Apr 2004 11:01 GMT34
I called Sprint (*2) and was told my phone needed an update, please hold on.
It completed normally, so I called in from my wife's identical phone and, as
has happened in the past, got no such message.  I talked to a tech and was told
it was a PRL update, and they eventually flagged ...
Thanks Sprint for having no coverage in MT,SD, and WY30 Apr 2004 10:41 GMT21
I am on the road and only found out after leaving  that Sprint has little or
no coverage in MT, WY and SD. I picked up a calling card from a truck stop
on the interstate. I then got the unpleasant surprise of pressing the * key
after calling my Sprint number to receive my voice mail ...

My phone was hijacked, or else Sprint switched it with someone elses. $100s in false charges.30 Apr 2004 03:27 GMT9
one night recently my sprint pcs cell phone was apparently somehow
mysteriously switched with someone else's.
either sprint themselves goofed up our two phone services in their
system, or else this other guy somehow hijacked my phone so he could
SprintPCS Pluses29 Apr 2004 22:54 GMT20
Lest anyone falsely say all my posts are negative let me list some of
the many positive things I've said about SprintPCS.
1. For many people: Plans with most minutes for the buck
    with the coverage they need.
SprintPCS 'fixing' the usage shown on shared plans??29 Apr 2004 21:51 GMT8
I've been unable to check the usage on any of the phones on my plan
for the last week.  SPCS said that it was because they had installed a
'fix' that would allow the 4 shared phones to show PCS2PCS minutes
used like my main phone does.  That represented a 'change' to my plan

Treo 30029 Apr 2004 21:43 GMT3
I am considering a Treo 300 to use for Internet access only. Sprint
will do the add-a-phone to my existing plan for an additional $20 + $5
for Vision. While I'll be able to make/receive calls from the Treo, I
prefer using my A500 as a phone and the Treo for Internet/PDA
WWJD29 Apr 2004 20:24 GMT8
Too bad Phillipe has plonked me or he could see that I am asking a
legit, OT question.  He takes his holier-than-thou attitude about
insults and foul language, and has even chastised someone for using the
Lord's name in vein.  He seems to think he is some sort of religious
Does A680 use same battery/accessories as A500?29 Apr 2004 13:34 GMT8
Looks like I'm getting an A680 tonight.  Anyone know if my power adaptor,
car charger and extended battery from my A500 will work with this device?
That would so rock if they do!
Thanks again everyone!
