Experiences with the RL-7300 by Sanyo13 Apr 2004 18:39 GMT3
I'm looking at getting the RL-7300 by Sanyo.
And experiences with the signal strength. Does it keep the signal well? Do
you have any recommendations or not with it?
Thanks,

Sanyo 8100: Text Messages vs. Notifications, what's the difference?13 Apr 2004 16:03 GMT4
I just got a Sanyo 8100, and on my new Vision plan I'm supposed to get 100
SMS text messages a month.
So what I want to know is: what's the difference between a Short Mail and a
Notification? I've used one of the upload services to upload wallpaper to my

Data connect charges13 Apr 2004 07:51 GMT1
Are you charged for data connect time ( additonal to regular minutes used)
for data connect (#777 or #2932) when you connect via a cell phone being
used as  a wireless modem?
Compared F&CA/Verizon12 Apr 2004 15:50 GMT6
The other day I was traveling north of Dallas on the backroads up to north
of Amarillo. I had F&CA while my friend had a Verizon National plan. We both
have Startacs. We both had signal about 99% of the time. The 1% is when I
think it was searching for a new system to lock unto.
Sanyo 8100 vs. RL250012 Apr 2004 14:38 GMT5
I've had the 8100 for about two weeks now, and I'm not happy with the
quality of the earpiece - very muffled on certain calls.  I'm thinking
about trying the RL 2500.  I'm not interested in a camera, SMS, etc.
-- simply want a phone that works... Any opinions on earpiece quality
what happened to retention?12 Apr 2004 13:40 GMT68
Yeah so I've had my ups and downs with Sprint, but I've stayed with them
since '99 mainly because they always offer me a killer deal when
contract renewal ('advantage' agreement) time rolls around.
Last year, retention had given me a CRAZY good deal including a better

Did SprintPCS forget to Spring Forward12 Apr 2004 06:39 GMT44
My Treo 600 in Chicago still shows it's 9am... when it should be 10am.  Does

making downloadable ringers11 Apr 2004 06:23 GMT4
I'm interested in making my own ring tones for my Sprint
phone (VGA1000).  I have decent audio software (Adobe Audition)
so I'm not looking for software.  All I want to know is what
file format to save (and codec, if needed), and how to download
Quick impressions of a returning Sprint PCS (Houston) customer11 Apr 2004 04:56 GMT16
After cancelling Sprint two yrs ago because of incessant dropped calls, I
switched back after spending those 2 yrs w/ VZW.  I liked VZ's coverage but
not their phones, and I was seduced by the new Toshiba VM4050's spectacular
screen enough to sign up knowing I could get out under ...
