Clamshell external display CID strategies?29 Apr 2004 06:17 GMT3
With current clamshell phones closed the small square external
screens present the caller's phone number in a tiny font. (One phone
even had to scroll the phone number horizontally to show all 10
digits!)
Ringtones on an RL2500.28 Apr 2004 23:18 GMT10
I have some spiffy ringtones I've down loaded to my RL2500 using
SnapMedia and a no-name low priced USB cable.
SnapMedia says it can only down load 3 ringtones, not larger than 20K
each.

SCP 5500 or A680?28 Apr 2004 18:05 GMT2
Ok, anyone have any thoughts on which one has the best reception?  I'm
leaning toward the 5500 based on the reviews I've read so far.  I went to
Best Buy today and while they're still out of the 5500, they have PLENTY of
the new A680's.  Argh.  Decisions, decisions.  Seriously ...
readylink28 Apr 2004 13:25 GMT7
An idea for any sprint employee that may read this and want to pass it
along. I think sprint's readylink can compete very well with nextel's, only
problem, the $15-$20 extra you need to pay is way too high. Every plan of
nextels includes their direct connect minutes, this is what ...
Phillipe's/Robert M's SECRETS28 Apr 2004 02:53 GMT38
Since Robert M./Phillipe/Cell Merger is a self-proclaimed whistleblower,
and wants to expose all of Sprint's "secrets"... why don't we try and
expose some of his secrets?  After all, if he feels like he has a right
to know everything about Sprint PCS and all of their "secrets", why

Verizon phone activatable on sprint?27 Apr 2004 19:15 GMT6
I saw an Audiovox Thera for pretty cheap, on verizon.  PDA phone.
Can that be activated on Sprint?
I think I heard that they won't do that willingly.
True?
Question on Vision with no vision plan27 Apr 2004 18:26 GMT17
I recently got a vision phone with no vision plan and played with it a
little last month.  And connected it to my laptop and tried that out too.
It loaded pages amazingly fast on the laptop computer.    I have the new
Sanyo phone and the Snapsync connection kit.
QCP Ringers and Sanyo 810027 Apr 2004 18:20 GMT1
I know how to make my own qcp ringers, but I need to get them to my
phone. I have a datacable and want to use it to transfer the files
rather than pay for using the PCS Vision service. BitPim doesn't
support picture or ringer transfer yet, and SnapMedia only supports
Will this affect CS ?27 Apr 2004 18:01 GMT4
Since the troll has me kill filed this should be safe.
I'm curious about what ya'll think about Sprint cutting out rap and hold
time for the CSR's ?
I also understand that tech now has to make a sales quota, I'm not sure
Entry Level Flip Phone27 Apr 2004 15:54 GMT1
I know that the Nokia 3588i would be Sprint's entry level phone, but I
was wondering what would be considered their entry level phone of the
flip design?
Would it be the Samsung (I forget the model number) that is $29.99 after
