I am seeking advice about whether to replace my phone or my service. I have had Sprint PCS service for about three years, using a Samsung SCH- 8500 phone, in Northern Virginia area. Most of my calls are made from my home in the evening.

Well, at least here in Vegas. Talked w/ a SPCS rep at Best Buy in Summerlin, and he claims there is a 2-3 week waiting period due to backlog from the factory(ies). Anyone else hear about this? Sure enough, I called around and can't find one anywhere! :(

Beginning in May Sprint will offer a different type of plan - it will offer set number of minutes for XXX - then will charge a set amount for different blocks of minutes - you will pay for minutes you actual use and there will be no unused minutes. And no I don't work for Sprint ...

Sprint reports a 2.9 % churn rate in the first quarter up from 2.7% churn rate reported in the 2003 4th quarter. Lauer waS given a humongous bonus because churn was coming down? Does he give it back now??
